The Gentle Equine provides whole horse hoof care to all equines. I specialize in working with equines with EMS and/or PPID and aim to help equine caregivers navigate the information provided to them.
I have forever been enamored with horses. When I was a kid my family had ponies, I then was the proud caretaker of my QH Champ when I was in high school. What brought me to my dedication and passion for EMS (insulation dysregulation) and PPID (cushings) , was this little pony "Cupcake". She is still with me today, after battling both IR and Cushings since 2013. At that time, my veterinarian did not have the information to support us, so I went to the internet and found the ECIR group! From there our journey ensued and I needed to get educated quickly, to support Cupcake EVERYWAY I could. Fast forward to today, and that was why I became a barefoot trimmer as well.
